Job Requirements:
The Business
Process Analyst will transcribe business
processes in a workshop or other real-time setting based on input from a
business architect or business analyst and will create and maintain the
functional security roles associated with those business processes.
This role will be responsible for learning the modeling standards of the
program, using those standards in the creation of the business process
models, creating and maintaining functional security role worksheets,
and interfacing with business analysts and application security staff to
ensure that the functional security roles align with roles found on the
business process maps and are implemented accurately in SAP.
Experience Skills and Years:
Minimum of 3 years experience in consulting
or business experience with ability to leverage business process skills
Knowledge of business process modeling
notation (BPMN), Catalyst modeling notation, Event Process Chain (EPC)
modeling, or similar modeling technique
Ideal candidates will have a year or more
experience working with the ARIS Business Designer 7.0x to create EPC
diagrams and knowledge of ARIS administration.
Candidates will be able to capture business
processes with the ARIS Business Designer in a live workshop
environment.
Candidates will have a good command of
Microsoft Excel
Good client and team interface skills are
important.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The
Business Process Analyst
responsibilities include using ARIS Business Designer or ARIS Business
Publisher to model business processes at the direction of a workshop
facilitator or similar role, creating Event Process Chain (EPC) and EPC
(Column) diagrams, and basic administration of ARIS in an ARIS server
environment. Additional responsibilities include translating changes
to the business process that impact roles and transactions into changes
to the functional security roles.
Critical
Knowledge & Skills The Business
Process Analyst will be responsible for modeling the business
processes of the Logistics Modernization Program. Because the modeling
technique (Event Process Chain Modeling) is a very specific technique,
the Business Process Analyst
may be responsible for conveying and helping
uphold the LMP Modeling standards and for ensuring that the LMP business
process roles as presented on the business process maps and functional
security roles are kept in alignment.
