Job Requirements:

Provide software engineering, integration and
development support to the Portal efforts. Must be able to quickly
adapt to the technologies in use in the Portal implementation and be
able to design and code enhancements and provide maintenance for this
system in a short period of time. Must have full software lifecycle
experience and a background in a multitude of development languages
and databases. Must have excellent written and verbal skills and
provide software documentation as required. Must be willing to provide
on-call support after hours and on weekends when needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Integration of
COTS software packages with the Portal solution. Includes implementing
SSO, product installs, and coordination with other teams for networking
and server-related components. Strict adherence to change management
procedures is crucial. Object-oriented analysis and design and
experience with Oracle, Java, JavaScript, PL/SQL, SQL, Web, C++, VB,
server set-up and configuration. Development experience on both Windows
and Unix platforms. Experience with software configuration management
and version control. Work closely with team members, representatives of
other CSC sites, government agencies, and DoD contractors. Ability to
understand various software architectures, software applications, and
operating systems.
